Aubrey's was originally a 250 year old Farm Workers cottage set in the picturesque village of Llangorse. It has been sympathetically and lovingly refurbished over the last 18 months to a 4 Star, 4 bedroomed, self catering cottage, with living room, wood burner, kitchen opening to conservatory dining/breakfast table which opens to small patio/barebcue area. All bedrooms are ensuite and can be 4 doubles, or 2 doubles, and 2 singles that can sleep 2 twin beds and 1 fold down bed. Maximimum to sleep comfortabley is 10. ( unless, of course, you are happy to have airbeds !:)Wireless internet connection is available, and every room has Sky Freeview on Flat Screens T.Vs

We are only a 10 minute walk from Llangorse Lake with beautiful views of the Brecon Beacons on the way. The Lake offers activities such as sailing, fishing and rowboating alongside a cafe and Bar ( Follow the link below to Seaspraytraining for various watersport lessons). The local views and bird life are of keen interest to photographers and families alike with the chance for the children to feed the ducks, swans and Canadian Geese. For the more adventurous, waterskiing is also available, ( as we are skiiers ourselves ) along with local pony trekking, climbing, abseiling, archery, clay pigeon shooting and even gliding, all in a radius of 10 miles ! There are also two Golf Courses in Brecon & Cradoc which are not more than 8 miles away )You may want to try our local pubs for a warm and friendly welcome from the locals. The Castle is open and doing food weekends only and The Red Lion is in the process of being totally repurbished by the Spring. It will have its own in-house brewery of local ales with coffee shop, pub and Function Room with outside Beer Gardens at the back and an open view of the brewing process !
